Bantam’s Coffee Roaster
We are nestled in the heart of Bantam, Connecticut, located on Rt. 202 along the right side of the Sportsman’s building. Open 6 days a week and closed on Wednesday to roast.

In addition to serving our loyal customers in our little shop we partner with and work with area businesses to support their coffee needs.
We supply Arethusa al tavolo with beans for their table-side French Press coffee as well as their entire coffee program.
On the beautiful green in Litchfield is Petroroia Deli, a bustling all day cafe serving made-to-order sandwiches and healthy Italian plates. We provide their beans for daily coffee as well as bags of rotating beans for their shelf.
We are more than thrilled to supply New Morning Market, in Woodbury, with organic retail bags of our Bantam Blend and a diverse selection of single origins.

Check out our Journal to see all the work that went into making KBL Bantam’s coffee roaster. We plan to have our beans in the surrounding community as well; stores, cafes, shops and restaurants. This will take a little time though, so in the beginning our beans will always be available at our mercantile retail shop in Bantam.

BANTAM BLEND
KBL’s flagship everyday coffee is the Bantam Blend, a well-rounded medium roast coffee that is great for that morning pick-me-up or an espresso after a long meeting.
Influenced by Northern Italian espresso, this blend has a well rounded body with a milk chocolatey backbone highlighted with bright fruit and a subtle sweetness.
Tour the world with our rotating Single Origin’s
SINGLE ORIGIN
KBL always offers several rotating Single Origin coffees. These beans will change frequently (usually after a few weeks) and will be roasted to reflect the country origin. The emphasis will be on exploring the subtleties and nuances of the particular bean.
